| I've noticed that some here have got an avatar but I can't work out how I can get one. How do I add a piciture to my profiel?

Click on the MEMCP towards to the top-right of the page. There's a sub-menu item there called EDIT AVATAR - click on that.
What you need to do is then enter the URL of the picture you'd like to use as an avatar. If it's been uploaded to this site through the wiki it will
http://theitalywiki.com/images/IMAGE.EXT
Where IMAGE.EXT will need to be replaced by the exact name and extension of the file you uploaded. You can also use URLs from other sites as well here.
